This is a personal blog on several subjects. Long story short. The main topics are:

• BOOKS: Reviews and key conclusions of books that are worth reading.
• DESIGN: User interface design, graphic design & even art in general.
• DIGEST: Digests of best twitter links updated every 2 months.
• ENTREPRENEURSHIP: I’m currently only a part-time entrepreneur with few Internet projects in portfolio but I’m totally inspired by the possibilities in this sphere. I try to share best information regarding web start-ups, so join me in this trip!
• FITNESS: I can’t imagine how somebody can be successful in life without feeling great. I’m personally a fan of weightlifting and yoga. Optimal eating habits and smart training strategies will be covered here.
• HUMOR: What can be a better than a good laugh?
• MARKETING: Everything from psychological aspect, analytical web tools, business KPIs to international best-practices and its creative side – advertising & commercials.
• PSYCHOLOGY: Everything related to studies of psychology, philosophy, self-development, motivation, life goals, happiness, etc.
• TECHNOLOGY: Trends in technology, web start-ups, gadgets, software and related things. Let’s try to make the best use of all the revolutions in this sphere.
• TRAVEL: Pictures and stories from all around the world + advice on how to see the world & extend your cultural horizons for less.
  Spain, Turkey, Japan, Romania, Thailand, Singapore are already visited and many others hopefully will be soon.

Also, topics of a special interest for me are business, design, self-improvement, creativity, career, science, gadgets, blogginng, writing, leadership, management, international business, world economy, cultural differences, art, photography.

Why do you blog?

First of all, is to remind myself of how big the world is and how many different opportunities are out there.

Not so bad for about 30mins a week on average?

So, basically the whole blog is a kind of experiment lab for me and I’m still not sure where it’s heading. You might notice that the style and topics change over time.

Who are you?

In case you’re interested who is on the opposite side of screen, let me say a couple of words about myself.

My name is Maxim (or simply Max), I’m from Russia, Moscow and I’m 26 years old now (Sep, 2011). I was born in Tyumen (in the middle of… Western Siberia!).

I majored in world economy & international business. Worked in various spheres: from web-design and web-development to long-term banking investments, e-commerce web start-ups marketing and multinational FMCG-companies marketing (market research, trade marketing, business development, brand management). So far, stopped at the latter.

Also, pursued PhD in Economics for some time in HSE but quit.  Love to spend my spare time with friends, doing weightlifting & yoga, reading good books and writing to my blog.
